Brian 'Sailor' Roberts Biography

Brian "Sailor" Roberts was an American professional poker player.

Roberts was a rounder who traveled the country with other poker legends Doyle Brunson and Amarillo Slim. Eventually Roberts like Brunson and Slim became a professional poker player. Along with playing poker professionally, Roberts was a chmpion bridge player.

In 1975 Roberts won the WSOP main event which was worth $210,000. This win also got him his second WSOP bracelet. A year earlier in the $5,000 Deuce to Seven Draw event Roberts won his first WSOP bracelet.
