Chris Ferguson Biography
Chris attended UCLA where he earned his PH.D in Computer Science. Before the age of 10 Chris was playing poker and used his time in college to hone his skill by playing poker in IRC chat rooms. In 1994 he began playing Califonia tournament and a year later he entered his first WSOP. In 2000 Chris won his first WSOP by defeating T. J. Cloutier at the main event to win the 1.5 million dollar prize.In 2005 Chris was the runner up in the National Heads-Up Poker Championship to Phil Hellmuth Jr. In 2006 Chris was defeated by Ted Forrest which meant he finished 2nd for two years in a row.
In 2005 Chris took part in the inaugural British Poker Open in London. This tournament became the UK's biggest televised live poker event in history. In 2006 Chris returned to London for the European Poker Masters and the Million Dollar cash Game with it's $100,000 buy in, it is Europes biggest high-stakes game.
